Starting in July 2022, we have been hosting monthly handpan meetups which serve as a central meeting point for the Berlin handpan community.
Whether you're a beginner looking to learn more or an experienced handpan player looking to jam with others, you'll find something here that interests you. There are open jam sessions, and plenty of time to get to know each other and make music. So grab your handpan, get ready to make some noise, and let's have some fun!

The dates for the next meetups are:

During the winter season 23/24, there is a Handpan intensive class with David Kuckhermann from 16:00 - 18:30h in parallel to the meetup - and David's students will join the meetup afterwards.

Summer Time (May - September)

In summer time we meet up at the Tanzkreis in the Volkspark Rehberge. The best way to get there is by public transportation. Exit Afrikanische Straße (U6) and walk about 10 minutes to the beautiful old dancing circle that has the shape of a gigantic handpan!

 

Winter Time (October - April)

In winter time we meet up at the Heilpraktikschule at Mariannenplatz 2a (south wing), 2nd floor. There are 4 different rooms for jamming and meeting up. We have to pay for rent and heating, so we are asking for a 10 EUR donation.
To get to our rooms in the Heilpraktikschule, you have to walk around the south wing and in a corner you will find a metal door. Just walk up to the second floor and to the right you will find the “Heilpraktikschule in Selbstverwaltung”.
